The client had a requirement to carry out due diligence at their main manufacturing site to assess whether their fuel storage and delivery systems meet the requirement of the Oil Storage Regulations.
Problem:
The 5 year old installation was installed against the regulations as they stood at that time. With installations having to be fully compliant by the end of December 2015 the client decided to have their system checked early to allow ample time for any remedial work to be carried out. The inspection included the fuel filling facility, storage tanks, all associated piping together with a thorough review of the fuel delivery installations.
